Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating excavators, skid steers, loaders, and forklifts.
• Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and PPE usage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather.
• Experience operating yard trucks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, skid steers, loaders, and forklifts to move materials and perform tasks within the yard.
• Safely operate a yard truck in a backup capacity when necessary.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and tires throughout the yard.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines, including PPE and machinery safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Assist with other yard operations as needed.
