Job summary

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator in Utah. You will operate loaders, backhoes, track hoes, haul trucks, and related machinery safely and efficiently.

This role demands attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with responsibilities including maintaining safe slopes, locating utilities before digging, basic equipment servicing, and recording time and material usage. Experience with asphalt, concrete, and aggregate handling is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous heavy equipment operation experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading.
• Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to supervisor.
• Keep time and material records.
• Understand aggregate sizes and weight requirements of loads.
