Job summary

Resource Options, Inc. is seeking a heavy equipment operator to operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, skid steers, and related machinery in a safe, efficient manner. You will perform routine inspections and coordinate with supervisors to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires MA Hoisting License 2A, 2+ years of experience, a valid driver’s license (CDL a plus), and OSHA certification preferred. You must be able to read site plans and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Hoisting License (2A) required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to job site safety.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, skid steers, and related machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform routine pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.
• Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific protocols.
• Work closely with site supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.
• Conduct light preventative maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and work instructions to ensure accurate project execution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure equipment is properly secured when not in use.
