Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Equipment Operator to run dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks and other large equipment for paving and earth moving. You will inspect, load and move materials while maintaining a clean, safe worksite.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, safe driving skills, and the ability to read and write for logs. A strong safety mindset is essential to protect yourself and coworkers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Ability to read and write for daily logs and reports.
• Excellent driving skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate various heavy equipment to load trucks and move materials.
• Maintain equipment by keeping it clean and orderly.
• Perform daily safety inspections and ensure safe operation.
• Follow safety, compliance and environmental requirements at all times.
• Load materials into bins, crushers, trucks or plants.
• Move earth or other materials between locations.
• Conduct visual inspections and minor repairs as needed.
• Complete paperwork and assist with other duties as required.
• Commit to health, safety and environmental policies in all work areas.
