Job summary

CMC is seeking a hands-on operator to support our steel fabrication and manufacturing operations in Midland, Texas. You will operate production equipment, perform routine maintenance, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a fast-paced, safety-conscious team environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of heavy equipment and hydraulic crane experience, strong customer service, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in either recycling or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating heavy equipment.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating hydraulic cranes.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow safety regulations.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the equipment.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Operate equipment in a highly active environment safely with high awareness of surroundings.
