Job summary

Conrad Yelvington Distributors, a CRH company, is seeking an Equipment Operator to move, load and handle aggregate materials in the terminal area using large earth-moving machines. You will lift, haul, push, and load materials, and operate equipment safely to support railcar and other transportation movements.

Responsibilities include equipment pre‑op checks, coordination with Yard Manager, and maintaining records while meeting health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in public works maintenance and/or construction work, one year of which involves operating heavy equipment.
• Must maintain a safe driving record and have a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoes, bulldozers, loaders to excavate, move, load and grade earth.
• Move materials into/out of railcars and other transportation.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and perform routine maintenance.
