Job summary

Conrad Yelvington Distributors Inc. in Florida is seeking an Equipment Operator to move, load, and handle aggregate materials using heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and loaders.

The EO will perform pre-operational checks, ensure safety, coordinate with Yard Manager, and work long hours outdoors in varying weather. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required, with at least three years of related experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years of public works maintenance/construction experience; heavy equipment experience.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoes, bulldozers, loaders and other heavy equipment to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials.
• Move materials into/out of railcars and other transportation modes.
• Perform pre-operational checks and maintain equipment cleanliness and lubrication.
• Coordinate with Yard Manager/Foreman on materials handling and equipment usage.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work long hours outdoors in varying weather.
