Job summary

Conrad Yelvington Distributors, a CRH Company, seeks an Equipment Operator to move, load and handle aggregate materials in our terminal area. You will operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, backhoes, excavators and loaders, and perform pre-operational checks.

Ideal candidates have 3 years in public works maintenance or construction, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Shift differential may apply and safety is our priority.

Qualifications

• Three years of public works maintenance/construction experience, including operation of heavy equipment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health & safety standards per legislation and company policies.
• Operate heavy equipment to excavate, move, load and grade earth and materials.
• Move, load and unload materials into/out of railcars or other transportation modes.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and maintain equipment.
