Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy machinery and move raw materials from railcars to stockpiles while loading finished products. You will help maintain roadways and loading areas, adhering to safety protocols and supporting team operations at our Texas facility.

The role requires the ability to perform pre-shift inspections, work varied shifts, and collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure productive, safe operations on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
• Ability to perform pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mobile equipment ( loaders, graders, haul trucks) safely.
• Transport raw materials from railcars to stockpiles and load finished products.
• Maintain roadways and loading areas for the operation.
• Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and report needed repairs.
• Follow MSHA/OSHA safety rules and procedures.
• Provide relief in other plant operations as needed.
