Typical day includes pre/post inspections, safe operations around conveyors and crushers, daily preventative maintenance, maintaining traffic flow, and assisting in training co-workers.

Qualifications

• Safety-conscious and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Experience operating mobile/construction equipment preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of off-road vehicles and heavy equipment within company guidelines and safety standards.
• Complete daily pre and post inspections of working areas and ensure berms and roadways are adequate.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections on equipment and report repairs to supervisor.
• Ensure safe operations around conveyors, surge piles and crushers.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance – check tire pressure, oil, grease, diesel fuel, hoses and moving parts.
• Maintain safe traffic flow throughout the site.
• Assist in training of co-workers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
