EquipMap, Inc. in Hayward, CA is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to operate and maintain a range of heavy construction equipment for utilities, streets, and public works projects.

This is a full-time, on-site role requiring a valid Class B California Driver's License and Tanker Endorsement. You will operate backhoes, excavators, bulldozers, cranes and related equipment, perform routine maintenance, inspect for safety, and support installation and repair of water and sewer lines.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B California Driver's License with Tanker Endorsement.
• Experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates backhoe, front end loader, excavator, bulldozer, trencher, crane and other equipment used in water and sewer line installation and maintenance.
• Performs trenching, material handling, backfilling and site grading.
• Conducts routine inspections and maintenance; reports major issues.
• Trains other personnel in equipment operation and safety practices.
