Job summary

EquipMap, Inc. is seeking a safe and reliable heavy equipment operator in Los Angeles County. You will operate Excavators and Loaders with various attachments, supporting jobs from grading to trenching and debris removal while maintaining productivity.

The role requires a valid California Commercial Driver's License, at least 2 years of experience, and strong communication with customers, inspectors and team members. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid CA Commercial Driver's License required.
• Minimum 2 years experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to communicate with customers, inspectors, employees and office staff.
• Ability to manage and complete a job without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently operate heavy equipment, which include Excavators and Loaders of various sizes and numerous attachments.
• Perform job responsibilities safely in a sometimes-busy environment, operating around trucks and personnel.
• Operate equipment productively for 10+ hours per day, year-round in all types of local weather and ground conditions.
• May be required to work weekends.
• Help laborers with cleaning and picking up debris, when necessary.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
