Sundt Construction is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in the United States to safely operate a range of heavy equipment including backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders and trucks. The role includes preventative maintenance and pre-shift walkarounds to ensure safe operation on active construction sites.

You will work with the crew to produce high-quality work, read drawings and specifications, follow safety standards, and identify opportunities to improve methods.

• Able to read and interpret drawings, specifications and safety standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication with crew members.
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards.

Responsabilités

• Operate backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, trucks and water trucks safely.
• Perform preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections.
• Maintain positive working relationships with crew and provide feedback on materials and tools.
• Identify improvement opportunities and share knowledge with others.
• Ensure work aligns with plans and specifications and correct any deficiencies.
