Job summary

Dolomite Group, a CRH Company, is seeking an Equipment Operator & Plant Maintenance professional to diagnose, adjust, and repair plant equipment in the aggregate and asphalt lines. You will operate off-road heavy trucks, water trucks, quarry trucks, and stock trucks, with on-the-job training provided.

The role emphasizes safe operation, preventive maintenance, and adherence to the Environmental, Health & Safety Manual, with a competitive hourly pay range and benefits including PTO and health

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Maintain current valid driver's license.
• High regard for safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and reassemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand tools.
• Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials, using trucks, crawler tractors, power cranes, shovels, graders, or related equipment.
• Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects; repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
• Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, changing filters, taking oil samples, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Environmental, Health & Safety Manual.

Education
