Job summary

The Dolomite Group, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose, adjust, and repair plant equipment including crushers, screens, and conveyors. The role also involves operating heavy trucks and quarry machinery with opportunities for cross-training and advancement.

Candidates should be mechanically inclined with a high school diploma or GED; a valid driver’s license is required. OSHA/MSHA safety rules apply and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Mechanically inclined; mining or heavy equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and reassemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand tools.
• Repair or replace damaged and worn parts.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using inspection methods and diagnostic tools.
• Test equipment after repair or assembly for proper performance and compliance with specs.
• Perform routine maintenance including lubrication and oil/ filter changes.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Operate heavy equipment such as haul trucks, water trucks, crawlers, cranes, shovels, graders.
