Job summary

Conrad Yelvington Distributors, a CRH company, is seeking an Equipment Operator II in Lamont, FL to move, load and handle aggregate materials using heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators and loaders.

Qualifications

• Three years of public works maintenance or construction experience; some heavy equipment operation required.
• Must maintain a safe driving record and have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in a team environment and perform manual tasks outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoes, bulldozers, loaders and/or other heavy equipment to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials.
• Move materials into/out of railcars and other transportation modes; conduct pre-operational checks.
• Assist Yard Manager in coordinating materials handling and equipment usage.
