Job summary

Precision Pipeline Solutions is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to perform excavation-related tasks and operate equipment including excavators, loaders, and rollers. You will coordinate with project managers and foremen to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, operating and fueling equipment, completing daily paperwork, and performing general labor as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong safety skills and reliable workmanship.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Project manager, Superintendent, Foreman and crew.
• Physical stamina to operate heavy equipment for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of hazards when working around natural gas and near trenches.
• Operate and fuel construction equipment (Excavator, Loader, Etc.).
• Complete daily paperwork such as dump forms, material tickets and DOT pre-trips inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness of company equipment and check fluids daily.
• Perform general labor duties as needed by the foreman.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Physically able to operate heavy equipment for extended periods.
• Adhere to PPS safety standards.
• Use Stop Work/Time Out when conditions change or equipment is unsafe.
• Must have a valid driver's license for at least one year.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comply with safety rules and regulations.
