Job summary

US Aggregates, part of The Heritage Group, seeks an Equipment Operator/Laborer to support plant operations by operating heavy equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and helping ensure safety and quality. This role requires practical skills and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Applicants should be able to read and follow instructions, work in teams, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

Regular attendance and reliable performance.
Read, write, and communicate in English; basic math skills.
Follow safety rules and operating procedures.
Able to work as part of a team and take direction.
Flexible with shifts, including days, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

Operate, service, and maintain heavy equipment ( loaders, dump trucks, skid steers, etc.).
Fuel, oil, grease equipment and follow safety manuals.
Perform pre-shift and post-shift checks and maintenance.
Maintain records (activity, inventory, maintenance logs).
Participate in safety & hazmat training; complete required exams.
Follow all policies and safety rules around tracks and equipment.
Keep facilities and equipment clean and maintained.
Suggest safer processes to improve efficiency and safety.
Complete required paperwork; comply with PPE and yard rules.
Perform other duties as assigned.
