Job summary

US Aggregates is seeking an Equipment Operator/Laborer to support production, maintenance, quality and safety within the Operations function. You will operate heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, haul trucks, and skid steers while ensuring records and reports are accurate.

The role requires safe operation, teamwork, and the ability to work days, nights or weekends. Training and PPE are provided to maintain site safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow written directions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Fluent English with good communication skills.
• Welding, torching and maintenance skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, service, and maintain heavy equipment to keep plant in production.
• Fuel, oil, grease equipment and follow safety manuals.
• Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift checks and maintenance.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in safety trainings and wear PPE.
• Abide by safety rules around tracks and equipment.
• Work in teams, take direction, and follow work rules.
• Complete trainings and certifications as required.
