Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for a dedicated landfill site in Axis, AL. You will operate off-road trucks, dozers and excavators to haul dirt and process waste, ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

This full-time role requires working outdoors in all weather, performing inspections, complying with site rules, and coordinating with supervisors. Competitive benefits, weekly pay, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
Experience with off-road trucks, dozers, and/or excavators.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
Landfill or waste industry experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Operate off-road trucks, dozers, and excavators to haul dirt and process trash at the landfill.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment and report issues promptly.
Perform work safely and efficiently in all weather conditions.
Follow all company safety standards, site rules, and applicable regulations.
Communicate with site supervisors regarding operational needs, equipment concerns, or site conditions.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Other duties as assigned.
