Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is seeking a full-time loader/operator at our Axis, AL landfill site. You will operate off-road trucks, dozers, and excavators to haul dirt and process trash, while performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting issues promptly.

Work is outdoors in all weather conditions; you will follow site safety standards, communicate with supervisors, and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of heavy equipment operating experience required.
• Experience with off-road trucks, dozers, and/or excavators required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Landfill or waste industry experience a plus but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Dedicated landfill site position; outdoor work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain.
• Exposure to dirt, dust, odors, and noise typical of landfill and heavy equipment operations.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
• Full time hours, with additional hours as needed.
