Job summary

J.P. Mascaro & Sons is seeking a reliable Heavy Equipment Operator for the White Pines Landfill in Millville, PA. The role involves operating excavators, loaders, off-road dump trucks, backhoes and dozers as part of daily waste-site operations. Experience is a bonus but not required; training is provided. Expect 8-10 hour shifts, five to six days a week with Saturdays as needed; good communications and ability to work outdoors in all weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work every other Saturday.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to operate heavy equipment on rough landfill roads and sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment on site to complete onsite operations.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner.
• Assist with other on-site operations as directed by supervisor.
• Contribute to projects such as new cell construction and road maintenance.
• Ensure equipment is safe and operable pre- and post-shift.
• Be able to operate dozers and excavators.
