Job summary

WM (Waste Management) seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator II for our Nashville, TN landfill. The role offers a starting pay of $25+ per hour, with stable hours and benefits including healthcare, 401(k), tuition support, and stock purchase options.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 5:30am–4:30pm with occasional weekends, and requires 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment, legal eligibility to work in the U.S., and the ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and physical.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Preferred experience: compactor, ADT, dozer, excavator.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment following safety policies and procedures.
• Move raw materials and finished components using material moving equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
