Job summary

Waste Management is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator II at our on-site Virginia facility. The role involves operating bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders to support our recycling and waste disposal operations, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The position offers a stable schedule (Mon–Fri 6:30am–5:00pm) with occasional Saturdays, competitive hourly pay, and a full benefits package including healthcare, retirement plans, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Requires 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Must be over 18 years old.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements with or without accommodations.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance; keep accurate records.
• Move raw materials and finished components with material moving equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
