Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas CDL Class A with tanker (N) endorsement.
• Hazmat (H) with Tanker (N) endorsement desirable.

Responsibilities

• Transport and operate heavy equipment on TRWD projects.
• Operate equipment such as water trucks, backhoes, Gradalls, dozers and loaders.
• Inspect, clean and maintain equipment daily; report issues to fleet mechanics.
• Locate underground services prior to work.
• Perform data entry on work orders and timekeeping.
• Train others in operation of equipment.
• Monitor health and safety standards and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist with civil tasks such as fencing, concrete work, carpentry and painting.
• Perform after-hours emergency response as needed.
