Job summary

Tarrant Regional Water District is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator II to safely transport and operate heavy equipment on TRWD projects. The role includes keeping equipment clean and in good working order, and supporting vegetation maintenance, structure inspection and other manual tasks.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED, a Texas CDL Class A with tanker endorsement, and Hazmat with Tanker endorsement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas CDL Class A with tanker (N) endorsement and without restriction E.
• Hazmat (H) with Tanker (N) endorsement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport heavy equipment to various job sites using truck and trailer.
• Operate heavy equipment such as water truck, grapple truck, backhoe, excavator, and loaders.
• Inspect and maintain equipment daily and report issues to fleet mechanics.
