Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of experience as a heavy equipment operator.
• Experience operating street sweepers, pot patchers, 18-wheel tractor/trailers, or light equipment preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a street sweeper to maintain City streets.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and tools (washing, oil changes, greasing).
• Assist in unskilled/semi-skilled labor for paving projects.
• Transport heavy equipment using lowboy trailers.
• Assist in training new employees and supervise work of laborers and operators.
