Job summary

Romegafire is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support city cemeteries by operating and maintaining heavy machinery on a daily basis.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid state driver’s license, and eventual completion of NIMS 100 and 700 within 3 months of hire.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of policy and procedures pertaining to grave improvements and maintenance.
• Knowledge of achieving grade pertaining to burials.
• Knowledge of and ability to maintain assigned equipment.
• Skills in operating heavy equipment such as front-end loader and back-loader.
• Skills in operating all Cemetery equipment as needed.
• Skills to perform basic administrative and clerical tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent. One year experience in a similar position.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license from state of residency.
• Must obtain National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) 100 and 700 within three (3) months of employment.
