What You'll Do:

1. Promote Safety: Prioritize safety in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, actively ensuring safety for yourself and others at all times.
2. Operate Heavy Equipment: Operate off-highway equipment to transport raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
3. Inspect Equipment: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete reports accurately.
4. Maintain Equipment: Check fluid levels, perform minor maintenance, and ensure optimal equipment performance.
5. Monitor Processes: Oversee plant operations, report maintenance or adjustments needed to ensure safety.
6. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills You'll Need:

• Experience: Previous heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Understanding of operating and servicing heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Flexibility: Willing to work overtime and extended hours, outdoors in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
