The ideal candidate has at least one year of operator experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Pre-employment screenings and a clean motor vehicle report are required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of experience as a heavy equipment operator.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug and background screening.
• A motor vehicle report will be run on anyone considered for this position.
• Desire to learn and grow professionally.
• Interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to compute basic numbers, read scales and use simple fractions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment for clearing, grubbing, site striping, mass grading, and related activities.
• Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist with preparing the construction site by organizing materials, tools, and equipment.
