Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is hiring an Installation Technician I – Matting Solutions. You will oversee day-to-day operation of heavy equipment safely and efficiently, in all weather, with overtime expectations.

Responsibilities include daily safety checks, routine maintenance, logging equipment usage, and clear communication with site personnel. Candidates should have a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and 0–1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and write fluently in English.
• Experience or exposure to heavy equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks with proper documentation.
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in all weather.
• Maintain daily logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with site personnel and follow safety rules.
• Travel as needed with extensive overtime.
