Job summary

Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. is hiring experienced Equipment Operators in Texas to join our field team. You will operate multiple heavy machines, maintain safety standards, and support job site preparation to meet project grades and timelines.

The role requires 4+ years of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to perform laborer duties as needed. Overtime and weekend work may be required on project sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of heavy equipment operating experience across multiple machine types.
• Willing to perform laborer duties as needed.
• Ability to work safely under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and working in variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate three or more types of heavy equipment to prepare job sites and meet grade specs.
• Attach and detach implements, control hydraulics, and maneuver equipment safely.
• Load/move materials with loaders, dozers, excavators, and rock trucks.
• Inspect equipment, report usage hours, and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Follow safety standards and project signals; work weekends/holidays as required.
