Job summary

BAUER Foundation Corp. in Idaho Falls, ID is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to run skid steers, excavators, loaders, and cranes. The role supports overall job operations with labor tasks as needed, while maintaining safety and completing equipment reports.

Qualifications include a current driver license, 2+ years operator experience, and preferred 10-hour OSHA training. Travel may be required on a per-project basis.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, loaders, and cranes.
• Must hold a current valid driver license and be able to travel as needed.
• 10 hour OSHA training preferred; 2+ years operator experience required.

Responsibilities

• Follow company safety protocol to ensure all work is conducted in a safe manner.
• Completes daily equipment reports and other paperwork as necessary.
• Assist in day-to-day operations as needed by the Project Superintendent/Foreman.
• Operate skid steer, construction forklift, concrete pump, loader, backhoe, and excavator.
• Conduct general maintenance including oil checks and refueling equipment.
• Solely responsible for the safe operation of their machine.
• Assumes general laborer duties in the absence of others.
