A leading waste management company in Lewiston, Maine is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to ensure the effective operation of heavy machinery and perform daily maintenance. This role requires at least 2 years of experience with heavy equipment and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and a mechanical background. This position involves working Monday to Friday with potential Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience with Heavy Equipment Loader/Excavator.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on details.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, construction or recycling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (excavator, front-end loader, etc.)
• Unload inbound vehicles, stack, store, and feed C&D material.
• Load outbound vehicles with recycled materials and residual waste.
