Gerico Solutions is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to handle excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and related machinery on commercial and residential construction sites. You will perform site preparation, grading, trenching, and grading while following safety policies and project plans.

Qualificações

• Minimum three years of experience operating construction site equipment.
• Valid certification for operating heavy machinery (e.g., NCCCO).
• Strong safety record and adherence to OSHA standards.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders and other construction equipment safely.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and site prep tasks.
• Read site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area per company safety policies.

Shift: Day shift with overtime and occasional weekend work based on project requirements. Duties:

• Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and other construction machinery
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation tasks
• Read and follow site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications
• Work closely with site supervisors and ground crews to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work area

Skills:

• Valid certification for operating heavy machinery (e.g., NCCCO)
