Job summary

Gerico Solutions is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to handle excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and related machinery on commercial and residential construction sites. You will perform site preparation, grading, trenching, and grading while following safety policies and project plans.

Qualifications

Minimum three years of experience operating construction site equipment.
Valid certification for operating heavy machinery (e.g., NCCCO).
Strong safety record and adherence to OSHA standards.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders and other construction equipment safely.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and site prep tasks.
Read site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications.
Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure safe, efficient operations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area per company safety policies.
