Sundt Construction is seeking a skilled equipment operator for a heavy construction site in Phoenix. The role involves operating backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, and other equipment, plus performing pre-shift checks and preventative maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will read drawings and specifications, communicate effectively with crew members, and proactively identify improvements while maintaining high safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Experience operating multiple heavy equipment types as described in job description.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with crew.
• Produce high quality work safely and productively.
• Provide feedback to ensure material, tools and information are available for work.
