Position: Heavy Equipment Operator - Travel

As a Heavy Equipment Operator - Travel, you will develop new skills, work in a safety-minded environment, and join us in expanding technology for the betterment of communities on the East Coast. Responsibilities

• Operate light construction equipment, including backhoes, cable plow, trenchers, hydraulic reel trailers, and other machinery, ensuring proper maintenance.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field.
• Read and understand utility locates and above-ground utility indicators to ensure crew safety and productivity.
• Support all phases of utility construction for various telecom projects, primarily based in WV, VA, SC, NC, and FL.

Qualifications

• Prioritizes safety in daily work.
• Proven track record of completing work with high quality.
• Enjoys hands-on work and problem-solving.
• Seeking long-term projects.
• Willing to travel 100% for 4+ weeks at a time.
• At least 2 years experience operating heavy equipment on a construction site.
• At least 1 year experience in the telecom industry.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• MOS Codes 12N, 12V, 21E, and 21J are relevant.
