Qualifications

• Equipment operating experience with earth moving construction equipment or related machinery.
• Valid Driver's License with own transportation.
• Experience as a construction laborer.
• High level of common sense relative to equipment and machinery operation.
• Mechanical aptitude around equipment, motors, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Must successfully pass ATF screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment as directed by Superintendents, Blasting Supervisor or Drill Operators.
• Maintain safety and perform duties in varying weather conditions.
• Possible out-of-town travel and overtime.
• Perform daily maintenance for safe, efficient operation of equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Learn drill patterns and execute patterns as instructed by Foreman.
• Coordinate with Blaster/Foreman and manage drill reports and paperwork.
• Carry tools and supplies and participate in job meetings.
