Job summary

Temp-Stop Excavating and Underground Utilities, a division of Temp-Stop Convenience Stores, seeks experienced Heavy Equipment Operators. Candidates should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, scrapers and graders.

Must have own transportation and be willing to travel; CDL is a plus but not required. Responsibilities include operating heavy machinery on construction projects, performing inspections, maintaining equipment, and coordinating

Qualifications

2 years of experience operating heavy equipment on construction projects (bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, scrapers, graders).
Must have own transportation and be willing to travel.
Drug screen, physical and criminal background check required; CDL a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, and backhoes.
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on equipment.
Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
Complete required paperwork and records as needed.
Coordinate machine actions with crew using signals.
Follow safety rules and work with others to complete tasks.
Work outdoors with physical demands including lifting up to 70 pounds occasionally.
