Job summary

ASI Construction LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. You will operate dozers, excavators, loaders and trucks safely on our dam and water resource projects, performing daily checks and routine maintenance as required.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of heavy equipment experience, a High School diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred). Travel is required; ASI emphasizes safety and teamwork on all projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3+ years of dedicated heavy equipment operation experience.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (Dozers, Excavators, Lifts, Loaders, Trucks and others) in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant industry standards, policies, and site procedures
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
• Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required
• Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored at close of shift
• Advise direct supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
• Participate in routine maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• All other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
