Job summary

ASI Construction is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate excavators, dozers, and loaders on our construction sites. This role requires 3+ years of dedicated equipment operation and a strong commitment to safety.

You will perform daily maintenance checks, clean and secure gear, and coordinate with the Superintendent. Travel is required; CDL and valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of dedicated heavy equipment operation experience with excavators, dozers, skid steers, and rock trucks.
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all heavy equipment (Dozers, Excavators, Lifts, Loaders, Trucks and others) in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant industry standards, policies, and site procedures.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
  • Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required.
  • Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored at close of shift.
  • Advise direct supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
  • Participate in routine maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
