Commercial Metals Company (CMC) seeks motivated personnel to contribute to our recycling centers, fabrication plants, and manufacturing facilities. You will engage in hands-on operations, safe material handling, and continuous improvement within a Fortune 500 company with strong training support.

The role involves operating equipment such as forklifts and loaders, complying with safety standards, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience in recycling and/or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Team player with strong multitasking and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment following safety regulations.
• Operate production equipment per established procedures.
• Participate in safety programs and uphold safety culture.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Transport material using crane and operate fixed/mobile equipment as needed.

What You'll Do

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations
• Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
• Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Transport material using the crane;
• Operate various fixed and/or mobile equipment; observing varying conditions; adjusting equipment controls
• Transport material using assigned equipment

What You'll Need

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Minimum 1 year experience in either recycling and/or manufacturing environment preferred
• Previous experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus
• Ability to travel locally, regionally, and corporately as business needs arise.

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
