Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator in Meridian, ID to safely operate construction machinery and support various site operations. The role entails handling loaders and other heavy equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy in daily tasks, and traveling between job sites as required.

Qualifications include a preferred high school diploma or GED and prior heavy equipment experience or training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous heavy equipment operation experience or training is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain safe slopes and proper barricading around excavations.
• Locate utilities and buried lines prior to digging.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance or report major problems.
• Comply with trenching and shoring standards.
• Keep time and material records.
• Understand aggregate sizes and load weight requirements.
• Travel between locations and assist at various job sites as needed.
