Job summary

You may perform basic maintenance and assist with trenching, and ensure proper barricading and slope safety. Qualified applicants typically have a high school diploma or GED and prior heavy equipment experience or training.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous heavy equipment operation experience or training highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
  • Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
  • Keep time and material records.
  • Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards.
