Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction is hiring a skilled equipment operator to safely run loaders, backhoes, track hoes, and haul trucks. Operate machinery with diligence, follow safety protocols, and communicate effectively with crew on job sites in Idaho.

We value experience with trenching, shoring, and basic maintenance, along with the ability to read instructions and keep accurate records. High school diploma or GED preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating loaders, backhoes, excavators, and haul trucks is highly desirable.
• Ability to read simple instructions and write brief notes.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure safe slopes and barricades around excavations.
• Locate utilities and buried lines before digging.
• Perform minor maintenance or refer major problems to supervisor.
• Maintain time and material records.
• Understand aggregate sizes and load weights.
