Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking an Equipment Operator to manage heavy construction machinery and perform routine maintenance on site. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to OSHA guidelines while supporting pipeline and earthwork activities.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and experience with a variety of equipment. OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred. Company benefits include comprehensive health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Experience with a wide variety of construction machinery.
• Knowledge of maintenance of construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain construction machinery (cranes, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, trucks, pumps, etc.).
• Promote a safe work environment and communicate hazards.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Assist with trenching/excavating per OSHA guidelines.
• Complete earthwork and backfill tasks as needed.
• Follow instructions and maintain equipment records.
