Bird Electric Enterprises is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to operate a range of construction machinery and support crews on site. You will follow project specifications, maintain equipment, and document inspections to ensure safe, efficient progress on heavy civil projects.

Ideal candidates have NCCER certifications, a valid CDL for road work, and the ability to work up to 12-hour shifts in varying weather conditions.

Formación

• Minimum Qualifications: experience as an equipment operator or a combination of experience and education; must know operating and rigging crafts.
• Commercial driver's license is required when equipment operated on public roads.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Operate gasoline, diesel, pneumatic or electric powered equipment per project specs.
• Perform light maintenance: cleaning, greasing, oiling machines.
• Document maintenance logs and daily equipment inspections.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and move loads safely.
• Inspect equipment and ensure safe operation, following safety protocols.
