Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH Company, seeks an equipment operator to handle excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders and backhoes across Arkansas sites. You’ll follow OSHA/MSHA rules, perform daily inspections, and assist with training. This role requires reliability, safety focus, and willingness to travel to remote job sites as needed.

Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience. A pre-employment physical and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform all essential functions of the job to a satisfactory standard.
• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of construction equipment and machinery—such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and backhoes—efficiently and safely across different job sites.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA safety regulations.
• Report issues or incidents promptly to supervisors or management.
• Adhere to daily assignments and project expectations from the Foreman.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment and report major problems.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and required documentation.
• Help train less-experienced team members in equipment operation, servicing, and repair.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned.
