Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies in Beech Island, SC seeks an Operator Equipment - Heavy to operate multiple power construction machines, excavate, move material and maintain daily logs. You will follow safety protocols, complete maintenance checks and support crew with precision.

Minimum requirements include 3+ years or 6,000 hours of equipment operator experience, a CDL when needed on public roads, and NCCER certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years or 6,000 hours of equipment operator experience.
• Must have a Commercial driver's license when operating on public roads.
• OCI Equipment Qualification card endorsed for the unit to be operated.

Responsibilities

• Operate gasoline, diesel, pneumatic or electric powered equipment to excavate, move and grade material per project specs.
• Perform light maintenance and document maintenance logs; conduct daily inspections.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew and ensure safe operation and hazard avoidance.
